Handmade High Waist Quilt Topper Shorts- 50s Grandmother's Flower Garden
Handmade High Waist Quilt Topper Shorts- 50s Grandmother's Flower Garden
These pants are made from a vintage quilt topper. When it was found, one entire side as stained, so why no use the good parts to make shorts :) There is no batting or back layer, so I would say this is a light weight quilt. This piece is all hand stitched and judging by the style and fabric, I would say this is from the 1940s-1950s. I shortened my palazzo pant pattern to make these into kind of a 1950s boxer short look.
