Handmade High Waist Pantaloon Pants-Rare Ecru Raw Silk with Feed Sack Ruffle Trim
These pants are made from vintage raw silk, I did the flame test on the ends and it checks out as raw silk to me, the trim is from a cotton muslin feel feed sack. I would say this is a light to medium weight fabric. I would say the raw silk is from the 1950s-1960s and the feed sack trim from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features an extreme wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).
