Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Rare 1960s 6 Point Star

These pants are made from an Vintage 6 Point Star Quilt. There is a batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1950s-1960s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Blue, white, and yellow with multicolored and multi patterned stars

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1950s-1960s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, very soft cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted, this has been hand-washed, but there still may be a few areas fo light discoloration that add the the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 27 inches to 39 inches around

Rise:   15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  22.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 30 inches around

Total Length: 38 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 16.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
