Handmade Petticoat Skirt- Rare 1960s Bow Tie Quilt Topper

This skirt is made from a vintage Bow Tie quilt Topper. As this is a quilt topper with no batting or back piece, I would say this is a very light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1950s-1970s. This skirt is cut in an A-Line pattern and features a full ruffle trim and elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes.

Color Scheme: Yellows with multi-colored and multi-patterned accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its mostly cotton, some of the bow tie pieces may be a cotton blend

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, no holes or stains noted, the elastic is new and super stretchy, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from inches to inches around

Hips: up to inches around
