Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- 1960s Checkered Block Print

These pants are made from a vintage checkered quilt. When it was found, it had lots of fabric separations, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1960s-1970s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: White with multicolored and multi-patterned squares, lots of the patterned ones are block printed

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton 

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, no holes  noted, the elastic is new and super stretchy, please note, while this has been hand-washed it still has a few spots (See photos)

Waist: stretches from 25 inches to 37 inches around

Rise: 16 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 44 inches around

Thigh: 27 inches around

Total Length: 41 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 17 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
