These pants are made from a vintage patchwork diamond quilt. When it was found, it had lots of tears, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: Ocher Brown and a rainbow patchwork of colors

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s (possibly older), handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted

Waist: stretches 24 from inches to 32 inches around

Rise: 14.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:27  inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 42 inches around

Thigh:26 inches around

Total Length: 40 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 16 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
