Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Ultra Rare 1940s Embroidered State Flower
Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Ultra Rare 1940s Embroidered State Flower
These pants are made from a vintage Harlequin diamond hand embroidered state flower quilt .When it was found, it was had several holes and wear areas, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, it also doesn't have Alaska or Hawaii as a state, so I would say this is from the 1940s-1950s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)
The states and state flowers on this pant are: Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Kansas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Indiana, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Michigan, California South Dakota, Louisiana, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, Gerogia, and Kentucky
