Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Ultra Rare 1950s 6 Point Star in a Star

These pants are made from a vintage 6-Point star inside a 6 Point Star Quilt. When it was found, lots of holes, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched,  I would say this is from the 1950s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: White, Peach, and Turquoise

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, no holes or stains noted, the elastic is new and super stretchy, this has been hand-washed 

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 36 inches around

Rise:  15.75 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 23 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 30 inches around

Total Length: 38 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 19 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
