Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1920s Flour Sack Dresden Plate

These pants are made from an antique Flour Sack Dresden Plate Quilt that I have added an antique Fan Quilt Trim to to give her a full leg,  I would say this a medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1920s-1930s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: White and ivory with multicolored patterns 

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1920s-1930s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, and I believe all of it to be flour sack material

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted. Please note while this has been hand- washed, there still may be a few areas of light discolorations that add to the loveliness of the pieces

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 44 inches around

Rise:  16 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 23 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 37.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  20 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
