Handmade High Waist Quilt Shorts-1950s Rainbow Checkered

These shorts are made from a vintage quilt. I actually made my very first quilt pant from this quilt . I don't want anything to go to waste, so now we have shorts! These are made from a 1970s shorts pattern, and feature a high waist and elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes. <3

Color Scheme: Ivory and blue with multicolored accents

Approx Age: This quilt is from the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, its very soft

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchym no holes (they've been patched) but please note some light wear area on just the front facing part of the quilt,it has a few areas of discoloration and spotting that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches 24 inches to 32 inches around

Rise:  13 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 3.5  inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 41 inches around

Thigh: 27 inches around

Total Length: 14 inches from top to bottom
