Handmade Quilt Skirt-Rare 1950s Grandmother's Flower Garden

These pants are made from a vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt. When it was found, lots of holes and fabric separations, so why not use the good parts for a skirt:) There is a light batting between the two layers (I believe its a linen tablecloth), so I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, so I would say this is from the 1950s possibly older. This skirt is cut in an a-line and has an elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Multicolored and multi-patterned 

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, no holes or stains noted, this has been handwashed

Waist: stretches from 25 inches to 40 inches around

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Total Length: 37.5 inches from top to bottom
