Handmade Super High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-1980s 8 Point Star

These pants are made from a 8 point star quilt. When it was found, it was found it was it was basically falling apart, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light batting between the two layers, so I would say this a very light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that is was all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1980s-1990s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: White and blues, greens and moody pinks and reds

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1980s-1990s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, I would say this is either cotton or a cotton blend

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes (I have repaired all the holes and fabric separations I could see) please note a few spotting areas

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 34 inches around

Rise: 14.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 26 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 28 inches around

Total Length: 39.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 17 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
