Handmade Checkered Patchwork Embroidered "Good Luck" Dress with Tie Straps

This dress was made from vintage embroidered "Good Luck" days of the week tea towels.  It features an elastic bust line and tie straps to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: White and Ivory with multicolored embroidery

Approx Age: the tea towels appear to be  hand embroidered so I would say 1940s-1950s, and the white pieces possibly 10-15 years old, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say the embroidered pieces are a gauze woven cotton, I would say the white pieces are cotton muslin

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is super stretchy, and the ties work great, please note there were a few holes that I have stitched up and there's some light spotting from its previous life

Bust: stretches 30 inches to 48 inches around

Waist:  up to 88 inches around

Hips: up to 88 inches around

Length: 43 inches from top to bottom, does not include the tie strap length
