Handmade High Waist Lined Quilt Topper Shorts-Rare 1960s Grandmother's Flower Garden

These shorts are made from a vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt topper that I have lined in 100% Cotton.  There is no batting between the two layers, so I would say this a very light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1960s-1970s. This short features a high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes.

Color Scheme:  Off White, and green with multicolored and multi-patterned hand stitched hexagon accents, Orange bias tape

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s,handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton or a cotton blend, the lining is cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches 24 inches to 36 inches around

Rise:   14.5  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:   1.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 43 inches around

Thigh: 29 inches around

Total Length:14.5  inches from top to bottom
