Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- 1960s Rainbow Checkered

These pants are made from a vintage checkered quilt. When it was found, it had several holes, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There no  batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1960s-1970s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: White and rainbow checkered 

Approx Age: Quilt is probably 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say polyester

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted 

Waist: stretches from 28 inches to 35 inches around

Rise: 13.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 26 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 48 inches around

Thigh: 29 inches around

Total Length: 39 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
