These pants are made from a vintage checkered quilt. I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, all hand stitching with the exception of the batting stitch, and style, I would say this is from the 1970s-1980s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1970s-1980s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say it’s all mostly cotton, there may be some cotton blends scattered about

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted, please note, while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some areas of light discoloration that add to the lovliness of the piece 

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 46 inches around

Rise: 15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 23.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 58  inches around

Thigh: 37 inches around

Total Length: 37.25 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 23 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
