Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1910s Flour Sack and Calico 16 Birds in Flight

These pants are made from an antique Birds in Flight Quilt. There is a batting between the two layers, but I would say this a medium to heavier weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1910s-1920s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Blues, Pinks, Browns, White, Reds, Clay

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1910s-1920s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, the cotton is very soft,  the inside actually has the flour sack decals, there are some calico pieces as well mixed in

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes ( I believe I have repaired them all) noted, please note, while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some areas of light discoloration that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 40 inches around

Rise:   15.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 20.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Thigh: 33 inches around

Total Length: 33 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  18.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
