Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1930s Flour Sack and Calico Grandmother's Flower Garden

These pants are made from a vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt. There is a light batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: White, Orange, and yellow with multicolored and multi-patterned hexagon accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, the cotton is very soft, I would say its mostly flour sacks, there are a few calico pieces as well

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 40 inches around

Rise:  14.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 18.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 31.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  18.75 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
