Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- Ultra Rare 1930s Flour Sack Arrowhead

These pants are made from a vintage arrowhead quilt. There is light cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, hand stitching and embroidery, and style, I would say this is from the  1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: blues, yellow, pink, with multicolored and multi-patterned hand stitched accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton flour sacks

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted (there were a couple areas of fabric wear that I have repaired with a zip zag stitch or patched with pieces from itself), no stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 40 inches around

Rise:  14.5  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  18 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 33 inches around

Total Length:  32 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18.5  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
