Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1930s Flour Sack Grandmother’s Flower Garden

These pants are made from a vintage Flour Sack Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt, the inside actually has some decals showing. I would say this a medium weight quilt . Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: white with multicolored and multi-patterned hand stitched hexagon accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all flour and feed sack material

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted. Please note, while this has been hand-washed there still may be some areas of light discolorations that add to the loveliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 50 inches around

Rise: 15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 24 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 57 inches around

Thigh: 35 inches around

Total Length: 39 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 21 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
