Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1940s Butterfly

These pants are made from a vintage Butterfly Quilt.  I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Since I had very limited fabric, while I'm still putting this under my umbrella of Palazzo pant, I would say this is a more slim leg. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand-stitched, I would say this is from the 1950s-1960s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: a beautiful assortment of moody colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was made in the 1940s-1950s,  handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all cotton, I believe this ivory areas and some of the wings are flour sacks as well

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 20 inches to 38  inches around

Rise:  15 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 45 inches around

Thigh: 30 inches around

Total Length: 39 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 14.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
