Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1940s Jacquard Linen Tulips

These pants are made from a vintage Jacquard Linen Tulip tablecloth. I would say this is a light weight fabric.  This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, Full Ruffle Trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Approx Age: This fabric was probably from the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but its definitely linen

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted (there were a couple of places I have repaired), please this has been hand-washed, there is some light discolorations that add to the loveliness of the piece 

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 42 inches around

Rise:  15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  23 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 38.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width  27 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
