Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1950s Silk Plaid

These pants are made from vintage Silk Plaid Fabric. I would say this a light weight fabric. Judging by the fabric and style , I would say this is from the 1950s-1960s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, , full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: ivory, mustard, pink, green, blue, 

Approx Age: This fabric was probably made in the 1950s-1960s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags,  but this is definitely silk

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 41 inches around

Rise:  15 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 21.5  inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh: 36 inches around

Total Length: 35.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 26 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
