Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1950s Yellow Rose

These pants are made from a vintage Yellow Rose Tablecloth that I have added a scalloped eyelet ruffle trim to. I would say this is a light weight fabric.  This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: White, Yellow, Greens, Grey, Ocher, Brown

Approx Age: This fabric was probably from the 1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this yellow rose fabric is all cotton, the ruffle I actually harvested from a vintage bed skirt, and I would say is cotton or a cotton blend

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted. Please note, while this has been hand-washed, there are still some discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece, mostly on the back area

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 50 inches around

Rise:  16.25  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  23.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 64 inches around

Thigh: 42 inches around

Total Length: 38 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  28 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
