Handmade Super High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-1970s Lavender 8 Point Star

These pants are made from a vintage 8 point star quilt. When it was found, one entire side was tearing and stained, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light cotton batting between the two layers, so I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched minus the finishing, I would say this is from the 1960s-1970s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: White and Lavender with multicolored star accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton with maybe come cotton blend pieces

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, there were several separations in the pieces that I have repaired

Waist: stretches from 27 inches to 36 inches around

Rise: 13.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh: 30 inches around

Total Length: 38.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
