Sustainably Handmade Facial Brushes

Made traditionally and bound with wire, these brushes offer a zero waste alternative to synthetic brushes that are harmful to the environment.

With natural antibacterial properties make it safer to use than plastic and because it is biodegradable, it will be returned to the earth after its use.

The Craftspeople have been making wood and natural fiber brushes in the Tradition of Swedish brush finding since the late 19th century.

Visually impaired craftspeople continue this tradition today to create something that is both functional and beautiful.

The Dry Brush

Should be used on a clean, dry face. When used to massage the face once or twice a week, the soft bristles effectively remove dead cells and give the skin a fresh, bright appearance.

- Oiled oak, goat hair
- Massage clean, dry skin with circular motions for 5 minutes 1-2 times per week, avoiding the eyes and mouth
- Do not expose brush to water, which will damage bristles
- Handmade in Sweden

Clean your brush ones a week by sprinkling corn-starch on the bristles and massage gently into the brush, then shake it all out. It will absorb and remove any excessive oil and dirt.

The Wet Brush

The wet use brush can be used with a cleansing lotion, to remove makeup and gently cleanse pores.

When used to massage the face once or twice a week, the soft bristles effectively remove dead cells and give the skin a fresh, bright appearance.
