Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants- 1970s 9 Block

These pants are made from a vintage 9 block quilt. When it was found, it was covered in tears on one end, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric and style I would say this is from the 1970s-1980s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility.

Color Scheme: brown, red, blue, yellow, green

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1970s-1980s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains, this has been hand-washed 

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 34 inches around

Rise: 14 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 29.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 44 inches around

Thigh: 25 inches around

Total Length: 42 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 16 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
