Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-1970s Ohio Star

These pants are made from a vintage Ohio star quilt. When it was found, it was covered in stains (I soaked it for 48 hours in retro clean and man did she turn out perfect) , so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1970s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes, it also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Blues and white

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 36 inches around

Rise: 14.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 26 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 30 inches around

Total Length: 40 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 19 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
