Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Rare 1930s Patchwork Feedsack
Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Rare 1950s 6 Point Star in a Star
These pants are made from a vintage patchwork quilt, I believe this inside lining is feed sacks . When it was found, lots of holes and fabric separations, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a batting between the two layers, but I would say this a medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, so I would say this is from the 1930-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)
