These pants are made from a Checkered Hand embroidered flower and spiderweb quilt. When it was found, it was covered in holes, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes

Color Scheme: Butter and Yellow, with soft multicolored hand embroidery

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, very soft cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed and no discolorations of note

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 34 inches around

Rise: 15 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 24 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 48 inches around

Thigh: 28 inches around

Total Length: 38.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 18.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
