Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1880s Ohio Star
Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1880s Ohio Star
These pants are made from a Antique Ohio star quilt. When it was found, it was covered in from where it had been folded up for decades, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, that it is all hand stitched and from natural dyed fabric (it also came with a little paper that said the approx age was 1880s and purchased at the Tulsa Flea Market in 1975, I would say this is from the 1880s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes, it also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)
