These pants are made from an antique Flour Sack ocean Waves Quilt. I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1910s-1920z. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: White and turkey red

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1910s-1920s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, and I believe all of it to be made of natural dyed and undyed flour sack material

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted (I have repaired several areas that had holes going all the way thru) but please note there is lots of surface wear that adds to the loveliness of the piece. This has been hand- washed

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 46 inches around

Rise: 16.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 22.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 60 inches around

Thigh: 38 inches around

Total Length:  37 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 22 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
