Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1930s Flour Sack Pinwheel Variation
Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1930s Flour Sack Pinwheel Variation
These pants are made from a vintage and possibly antique flout sack quilt. I'm not super sure of this quilt pattern, so I'm calling it a pinwheel variations. When it was found, it had several holes and wear on the edges, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a light cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, that it is all hand stitched and from natural dyed fabric (it also came with a little paper that said the approx age was 1930s). I would say this is from the 1930s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a super wide leg and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)
