Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1920s Rainbow Sherbet 6 Point Star

These pants are made from an antique/vintage 6 Point Star Quilt. When it was found, it was covered in tears and holes, so why not use the good parts for pants:) There is a batting between the two layers, but I would say this a medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1920s-1930s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: a gorgeous rainbow sherbet assortment of colors and fabric patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1920s-1930s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, very soft cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted (I believe I have repaired them all), please note while this has been hand- washed, there still may be a few areas of light discolorations that add to the loveliness of the pieces

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 39 inches around

Rise:  16.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25.25 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh: 32 inches around

Total Length: 41 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 20.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
