Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1960s 4 Block Pinwheel Variant

These pants are made from a vintage  4 Block Pinwheel Variant quilt. I have added a piece of 1940s scalloped qui trim to give her more length. I wold say this a light weight  quilt. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1960s-1970s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: yellow, brown, green

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted. Please note, while this has been hand washed,There are still some areas of light staining

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 46 inches around

Rise:  15.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  21 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 55 inches around

Thigh:  36 inches around

Total Length: 34 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 21.5  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
