Handmade Quilt Skirt-1960s Grandmother's Flower Garden
Handmade Quilt Skirt-1960s Grandmother's Flower Garden
This skirt are made from a vintage grandmother's flower garden quilt. When it was found, it had several areas completely separated and some holes, so why not use the good parts for a skirt :)There is batting between the 2 layers, I would say this a medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric and style,I would say this is from the 1960s-1970s. This Skirt is cut in an a-line pattern and features an elastic waistband to fit a variety of sizes
Color Scheme: ocher, pink, blue, aqua, white, purple, green
Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently
Fabric: no tags, but I would say the outer is polyester and the lining is cotton

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 34 inches around
Hips: up to 48 inches around
