As a business that focuses on kind earth, vintage and kind human goods, we acknowledge that we need to be socially responsible as a business. So, we are happy to announce that as of 02/01/2021 we will be giving back 3% of our sales to a different organization that we believe will enact change, assist the marginalized, and fight against systems of oppression and racism within our communities and worldwide.
FEB 2021: Thurgood Marshall College Fund
"The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is only about 30 years old, but it's the largest organization in the nation that represents HBCUs (historically black colleges and universities) and predominantly black institutions. Providing leadership, lobbying, job recruiting, and scholarships."
In 2017 alone, they helped to more than 30,500 graduates, 7,500 graduate degrees, and about 2,000 doctorate degrees.
MARCH 2021: Native American Heritage Association (NAHA)
"A nonprofit founded in 1993 to serve the needs of impoverished Native Americans living on reservations in Wyoming and South Dakota. NAHA provides basic life necessities and self-help programs including clothing donations, food deliveries (including full holiday dinners for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), fuel and stove provision for winter heating support, and vouchers for emergency expenses."
