Handmade High Waist Lined Quilt Topper Shorts-Rare 1970s Grandmother's Flower Garden

These shots are made from a vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt Topper that I have lined in 100% Cotton.  There is no batting between the two layers, so I would say this a very light weight quilt. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1970s-1980s. This short is cut in a vintage running short style and features a high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes.

Color Scheme: White with multicolored and multi-patterned accents, Avocado and olive green bias tape

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1970s-1980s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its mostly cotton, there may be some cotton blend pieces and maybe even some silk

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 22  inches to 40 inches around

Rise:  14.5  nches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:   2 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 46 inches around

Thigh: 29 inches around

Total Length: 14.5  inches from top to bottom
