Handmade High Waist Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1950s Gingham Sun Bonnet Sue

These pants are made from a set  vintage cotton Sun Bonnet Sue Pillowcases, probably from the 1940s-1950s. I would say this is a very light weight and flowy fabric. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. This particular pant is pocketless as  I wasn't able to add inseam pockets to her as it would ruin her dress and ruffle trim :)

Color Scheme: White with black embroidery and white and red gingham accents

Approx Age: I would say this fabric is from the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted, please note, while this has been hand-washed there are still some areas of light discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 48 inches around

Rise:   14.75  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  15 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 58 inches around

Thigh:  35 inches around

Total Length:  28 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  18 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
