Handmade High Waist Pantaloon Pants-Rare 1940s Seersucker Cotton with Scalloped Filet Crochet Trim

These pants are made from a vintage seersucker cotton sheet (it had a very old tag from sears probably 1940s) and a piece of scalloped filet crochet trim that I got from a trunk of antique linens and would date these from the 1880s-1910s. I would say this is a very light weight fabric.  This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme:  White

Approx Age: I would say the cotton body is from the 1940s-1950s, the crochet trim that I have added is probably 1880s-1910s  handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 46 inches around

Rise:  15 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  17.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 56 inches around

Thigh:  36 inches around

Total Length:  31 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  19 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
