Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1880s Calico and Flour Sack Arrows

These pants are made from an antique Arrows Quilt.  There is a batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to  medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1880s-1890s-1930s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: Turkey Red, Ecru, Black

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1880s-1890s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, very soft cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted,  please note while this has been hand-washed and lemme tell you I soaked this for hours, there is still areas of discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 39 inches around

Rise: 14.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 18.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 48 inches around

Thigh: 30 inches around

Total Length: 31 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 17.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
