Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1910s Silk and Flour Sack Tulips

These pants are made from an Antique Silk and Flour Tulip Quilt. I have added a piece of flower, sack hand embroidered material to the hem to give it a full leg. I would say this a light weight quilt as it has a thin batting of cotton. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1910s-1920s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme:white, ivory, green, pinks

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1910s-1920s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say The body and lining is all Flour sack material, I believe the floral and ribbon appliqué are silk

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted.Please note, while this has been hand washed, there still may be some areas of light discoloration to add to the loveliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 44 inches around

Rise: 15.25 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Thigh:34 inches around

Total Length:39.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 21  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
