These pants are made from an Antique Silk Embroidered Crazy Quilt. I have added Some extra length to give this a full leg from pieces that I cut for this pattern and pieces from the antique rainbow  log cabin in another listing in this drop. I would say this a light weight quilt as it has a lining, but not batting in between the 2 layers. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1920s-1930s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: a rainbow assortment of colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1920s-1930s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all  silk on the outer and it is hand stitched into cotton feedsack material  with a linen lining

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted. Please note there’s are several areas of silk shattering, no holes as it it set onto feedsack material, it may still shatter with wear, but you’ll see those gorgeous feed sack pieces shining thru! Also please note, please of the age and material of this piece I didn’t do my normal wash routine with her, but rather spot treated it

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 43 inches around

Rise: 15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 23.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh: 35 inches around

Total Length: 38.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 21  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
