Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1930s Flour Sack and Calico 4 Point Star

These pants are made from an vintage 4 Point Star Quilt. There is a light cotton batting between the two layers, but I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric, style, and that it is all hand stitched, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: red with multicolored and multi0patterned accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say its all cotton, there are lots of vintage or antique calico and flour sack pieces inset in the stars

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been handwashed

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 42 inches around

Rise:   15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  19 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 33  inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 17.25 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
