Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1940s Flour Sack Medallion Sun

These pants are made from a vintage sun medallion quilt, I have added a piece of rainbow log cabin Quilt to the trim to give it more before leg. I would say this a light to medium weight quilt. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1940s-1950s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme:  red and white multicolored and multi-patterned accents

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say this is all cotton, I believe the squares with the medallions in them are Vintage flower socks, and the red area is cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted. This has been hand washed

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 46 inches around

Rise: 16 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 24 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 56 inches around

Thigh: 37 inches around

Total Length: 38.5 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 22.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
