Handmade High Waist Quilt Palazzo Pants-Ultra Rare 1941 Embroidered Crazy Quilt

These pants are made from a 1941 crazy Quilt, I have added a trim to this as Well, from scraps from pattern cutting to give this more of a full leg.  I would say this a light weight quilt. Judging from the fabric, style, and hand stitching and this lil chain stitched patch that says 1941, I would say this is form the early 1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: A moody rainbow assortment of colors and patterns

Approx Age: This quilt was mare around 1941, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say the ouser layer is all wool, it is set onto vintage cotton flour sack fabric

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, it does have a few moth holes, but since it is sewn onto feedsacks, those beautiful pieces shine thru. No stains noted, because of the age and material of this piece, I gave her a spot clean instead of a full submerge wash

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 44 inches around

Rise: 15.75 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  24 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 54 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length: 39 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 21 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
