These pants are made from a vintage hand embroidered butterfly quilt. I would say this a light to medium weight fabric. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1970s-1980s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: brown and white with multicolored hand done embroider

Approx Age: This quilt was probably made in the 1970-1980s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say it’s all cotton 

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted, please note, while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some areas of light discoloration that add to the lovliness of the piece 

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 42 inches around

Rise: 15 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  24 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length:  38 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  20.5 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
