Handmade High Waist Quilt Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Ultra Rare 1910s Flour Sack Double Irish Chain

These pants are made from an antique/vintage Double Irish Chain Quilt that added vintage flour sack ruffles to. I would say this is a medium weight quilt. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: White and Blue

Approx Age: This quilt was probably from the 1910s-1920s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but its definitely cotton, I would say its all made from flour and feed sacks and the ruffle is a patchwork of cotton flour sacks

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes, please note, while this has been hand-washed, there is still some areas of light discolorations that add to the lovliness of the piece

Waist: stretches from 23 inches to 40 inches around

Rise:  15.5  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam:  23 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 48 inches around

Thigh: 31 inches around

Total Length:  38 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 23  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
