Handmade High Waist Quilt Ruffled Pantaloon Pants-Ultra Rare 1940s Silk Patchwork

These pants are made from a vintage silk quilt topper. I have left this unlined so that your body can absorb those silky vibrations, so I would say this a light weight fabric. Judging by the fabric and style, I would say this is from the 1930s-1940s. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, high waist, full ruffle trim, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Color Scheme: black with multicolored and multi patterned accents 

Approx Age: This fabric was probably made in the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but this is mostly all silk, there are one or two areas that I believe are cotton

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes noted, please note, while this has been hand-washed, there still may be some areas of light discoloration that add to the liveliness of the piece 

Waist: stretches from 26 inches to 45 inches around

Rise:  15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 52 inches around

Thigh: 32 inches around

Total Length: 39  inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:23  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
