Handmade High Waist Quilt Topper Lined Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Ultra Rare 1940s Flour Sack Applique Sampler

These pants are made from a vintage Flour Sack Flower and Dresden Plate Sampler Quilt Topper that I have lined in 100% Cotton and added vintage flour sack ruffles to. As this is a lined quilt topper, I would say this is a light weight quilt. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: Ivory and White with multicolored and multi-patterned hand stitched applique

Approx Age: This quilt was probably from the 1930s-1940s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but its definitely cotton, I would say the outer is all flour sacks the ruffle is made of a patchwork of vintage flour sacks

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted. This has been hand-washed.

Waist: stretches from 24 inches to 44 inches around

Rise:  16  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 25.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 60 inches around

Thigh: 38 inches around

Total Length:  39 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width: 26  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
